A new scientific article has been published
Data-driven discovery of small electroactive molecules for energy storage in aqueous redox flow batteries: this is the title of the new scientific article published on the Energy Storage Materials Journal.
In the context of the COLORFLOW project, the paper has been produced together with the research center DIFFER – Dutch Institute for Fundamental Energy Research. By using computational chemistry methods, several organic molecules have been screened according to specific requirements in order to identify the most promising candidates to be used in the chemistry of a flow battery.
The article highlights the success of the method that has been applied: on one hand, the synergies coming from the combination of research and industry, on the other the key support of computational chemistry to experimental activities. The full article can be found at this link.
