Energy Efficiency: the new organic storage system is “made in Italy”

La startup italiana Green Energy Storage (GES) ha sviluppato batterie a flusso a basso impatto ambientale e conquistato gli investitori sulla piattaforma di equity crowdfunding Mamacrowd.

Tecnologie all'avanguardia, brevetto e partnership internazionali, team d'eccellenza: è Green Energy Storage (GES), la startup italiana dell'efficienza energetica. Nata nel 2016, forte di un accordo di esclusiva per l'Europa con l'Università di Harvard, GES ha sviluppato un sistema di accumulo organico per le energie rinnovabili basato su una molecola organica, il chinone, che si estrae dai vegetali e dagli scarti del petrolio.

Si tratta, in pratica, di batterie a flusso a basso impatto ambientale che permettono di accumulare l'energia prodotta da fonti rinnovabili - ad esempio solare ed eolica - e di utilizzarla con flessibilità, riducendo contemporaneamente i costi. [Read the article on "La Stampa"]
